Our Builders Mix is a convenient 50/50 blend of Plasterers Sand and 14mm Blue Metal, prepared fresh on-site for consistent quality. This mix is ideal for making concrete for footings, small slabs, posts, pathways and general construction work. Simply add cement and water, and you’re ready to go.

Our Blue Metal Roadbase is a high-strength blend of 20mm blue metal down to fines, including blue metal dust. This graded mix binds together extremely well, creating a dense, stable base ideal for driveways, hardstand areas, pathways, paving preparation and general civil works. It also provides solid compaction while maintaining good drainage.
Blue Metal Roadbase can also be used for concrete production when combined with cement and water, offering versatility for a range of construction and landscaping projects.
Calculating an accurate amount of product required for your job is very important. There is nothing worse than receiving a delivery to find you’re short on product.
Of course sometimes your job area may not be square or rectangular, it may be winding and change widths at various times which can make correct measurement difficult.
